International Airport – Last night, a commercial passenger plane experienced a fire incident during landing. Sparks appeared from the left wing as the plane’s wheels touched the runway, quickly igniting flames under the wing.
The aircraft came to a stop at the end of the runway, producing thick black smoke and a strong burning odor. Emergency sirens sounded immediately as airport fire trucks rushed to the scene with flashing lights.
Firefighters sprayed water and firefighting foam directly onto the flames to prevent the fire from spreading further. Authorities reported that all passengers and crew were safely evacuated and no casualties were reported.
Initial investigations suggest the cause could be technical malfunction, landing gear damage, or a fuel system issue. Officials emphasized that a thorough investigation is ongoing to determine the exact cause.
The airport temporarily suspended operations on the affected runway to carry out safety inspections and cleanup before resuming normal flight operations.
Further updates will be provided as the investigation progresses
