My late husband and I had spent our entire lives working. Every spare dollar went toward raising our only son, Daniel. Family vacations were always something we promised ourselves “next year.”<\/p>\n

After my husband died, I stopped dreaming about traveling. I was content with my small house, my garden, and Sunday phone calls from Daniel.<\/p>\n
